We see companies owning their buildings as one of the best ways to minimize operating expenses and generate long term wealth by turning active income into passive income. Becoming an owner/user also allows for the potential of having additional tenants in your building to help offset your mortgage payment, which generally will bring down an owner/users occupancy cost to a fraction of what market rent would be. Being an owner/user also opens up the opportunity for a sale-leaseback in the future should there be a desire to free up capital for other business ventures or allow for a retirement plan paid by your company or tenants rental income.
